Tier Philosophy
Campaign Evolved weapons are ranked by consistency across all 13 missions — not pure DPS. A B-tier rifle that never runs dry beats an S-tier rocket launcher with two rockets left before a Hunter fight.
Plasma weapons strip shields; kinetic weapons finish unshielded targets. The classic CE combo — overcharge plasma pistol plus headshot — remains S-tier on Legendary.
- S — MA5B, plasma pistol, shotgun, sniper rifle
- A — needler, plasma rifle, fuel rod (ammo permitting)
- B — storm rifle equivalents, silenced SMG variants
- C — situational — rocket launcher until heavy encounter
Mission Loadouts
Interior Flood missions demand shotgun + pistol with full ammo before entering Library or 343 Guilty Spark tunnels. Vehicle missions prioritize plasma pistol and grenades for anti-vehicle overcharge shots.
Co-op loadouts should complement, not duplicate: one Spartan runs precision (sniper / DMR), one runs shield break (plasma), one hoards power weapons for Hunters and elites.
9 New Weapons
Campaign Evolved adds nine weapons to the classic CE sandbox. Early previews suggest hybrid roles — burst energy, tactical grenade variants, and mid-range precision tools that fill gaps between pistol and rifle.
Test each new weapon on Normal before Legendary routing. Some excel in PvE horde segments where CE originals felt weak.
